Failure. Another step back on a perfect plan. Ugh. All these thoughts coursed through my head on what was supposed to be a great night. Ok, so maybe I over exaggerate just a little bit, and because of that maybe I cant spell either...but still. Enough metaphors though...lets dig in, shall we?
Karaoke night. Should be fun, right? All the plans are set. Four of my friends are coming, myself, and hopefully my mystery girl will be there as well. Sorry for the use of codenames, by the way. Well, when I called up the mystery girl in order to give her directions, she bailed. I know what your thinking, but she isnt mean. Shit just happens...to me, but oh well. Either way, she went to the movies with her family and they took one car, and she didnt want me driving to boise to get her, then do mountain home to drop her off later that night, then back to meridian from mountain home. Total driving time of a little over 2 hours. A little heartbroken, I went on with the party. T'was fun to reminisce with old friends, but still would have been better to have her there. Oh well. What can you do?
She still hasnt turned me down, and because of that I will still try to ask her out. Eventually I will get an answer, whether it be the one I want or not. Until then, we'll just keep on playing our little game of cat and mouse.

Another piece to the puzzle
First of all I would like to thank Fataru and Roddra. I appreciate the advice you guys both gave me from my last blog. Well, Roddra actually told me over the phone...but oh well. Same damn thing. Either way...thanks ^.^ I figure with this blog tonight, I can add a little piece to the puzzle, so to say. A little more to this mystery lady, and the progress that I have made. But first, some boring news of my life.
Christmas Eve...a time when my family opens up gifts, and for my brother in law it was about to be the greatest gift of all time. A PS3. True, I was a little jealous, especially when I was the one doing most of the camping out for it, while my sister and mother just dropped in at stores. We found one after about a week or so. The package was secure, so to speak. Well naturally, a plan can never work as well as you'd hope. Shortly before Christmas Eve, my little bro let slip a tidbit about a ps3 as a gift for someone, within the vicinity of my brother in law. BIG MISTAKE. He then decided that it must be for him, and began to brag to his friends. Thats when I come in.
The plan was simple. I was to get the ps3 instead of him, and he was to get a couple of my gifts, just to fuck with his mind really. Soon after he would get a note in a box saying that the ps3 is actually his, and to give me my stuff back. The plan couldnt have worked more flawlessly. In fact, I was told that I should have recieved an emmy or something for my award winning performance. Fooled everyone, even my parents almost, and they knew about it. Watching the footage afterwords, I was glad to see that just winging it worked out well for me yet again. The day was saved, and I was glad to do it.
Well, one story is enough for tonight, dont you think? Oh...you wanted to hear the mystery girl update? Damn, was hopin you forgot about that part. Fine...fine...here is goes. I had asked her out for that saturday, only to recieve a maybe as a response. I say this because this is truely where the story continues. The next day at work, I play it cool. Maybe she thinks I did just mean as friends. However, now that I had thrown in out in the open, I was reluctant to give up the pursuit. I found out that she actually was busy the night I asked her out, with family stuff. What my luck, eh? However, one thing led to another and somehow we were on the discussion of the infamous PS2 game known as karaoke revolution. Now being the egotistical bastard I am, I was bragging a little bit about my skill.
This week, prior to me even talking to her about karaoke, my room mate and I had planned a house warming/welcome back to town/karaoke party at our new apartment. With a lot of our friends back from Japan and China and wherever else they were, it was a great opportunity to get together and reminisce about our current adventures.
Once again, we can only hope that things work out, cuz quite frankly...being single sucks. Good night everyone! And Merry Christmas! ^.^

Better late than never
Damn, its been a long time since I posted anything on this ol' blog of mine. Oh well, not like anything interesting happened in my life since my last blog. WRONG
Hmm, where to begin. I guess we'll start with me moving into my new place. Its been about...umm, almost 2 weeks now that I've been here? Something like that. As I look around my bedroom, I see possibility. Partly because I have no furniture, but mainly because I can do nothing but imagine the things I could do with this room. This room in finally MINE. Not my parents that they gave me, not a dorm room at a college, but MY room that I paid for MYSELF. Its always nice to look at things from that perspective. Just makes the situtation, no matter how bare and bleak it is, look that much better. Besides my room being bare, living here has been great. Dont really have any chores, curfews, annoying people who wont shut the fuck up when I'm trying to sleep...that sort of thing. Its actually very nice. Also, my room mate is awesome. Been a good friend of mine for a few years running now. Best part is, he isnt a wild, crazy, psycho like previous room mates I've had. Hes also responsible, which is another nice change to have around. All in all, I think this move was definetely what the doctor ordered.
Now I'm sure some of my "many readers" are wondering still why I havent mentioned any sort of girlfriend in any of my blogs. Well, this is because I'm pathetic and have no girlfriend. But fear not, for I am trying to remedy that as we speak. I wont mention any names here, for fear of someone finding this site, thus making things awkward...possibly ruining any chance I have...yeah...anyways. I've been friends with this girl for a few months now. Asked her out the other day, but worded it so it could potentially be taken as "do you wanna hang out as friends" instead of "would you like to go out on a date with me". Am I lucky or what? Oh well, round two so far looks promising, so I guess we'll see how that goes. Maybe I can get her to go out with me. If not...oh well, guess that just means I'll need to spend about a month and maybe 100 dollars on some new video games to prevent myself from going into a depression spiral which would involve me crying and wondering why all women of this world hate me. Although this scenario might seem bad, it hasnt actually happened yet...but you wait people...you never know when it might just happen...TO YOU! Ok, now I'm rambling....
Guess thats enough for now. Anymore and I'd be writing an autobiography. Totally not worth the effort. For some reason I dont forsee profit from it...meh. Guess the only thing left to say is...
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night. Now stop drinking my Egg Nog!"

The plot thickens...
For those who havent heard yet, I broke my cell phone about a week ago. I had it in my pocket, like I have been doing for the past 7 months or so of working there, and I hit a corner just right and cracked the monitor. Totally sucked. However to make it even worse, I cant get the phone replaced for free. Naturally, you're all wondering "What about the warranty?" Well, since the monitor cracking isnt a "manufacture defect" the warranty wont cover it. And since the phone cost me $200 right off the back, i wasnt gonna pay an extra $50 or so for insurance. I have to buy an entirely new phone. All insurance would have done is take off like 80 bucks or so off the new phone. Either way, I can deal with this phone for now. Its just that I cant take pictures, text message, or see who the fuck is calling. Basically, just a land-line phone. Meh
Its finally public news to all that I know that I am taking a short break from college. Should be a nice new adventure, right? Well starting with my roommate and I having no rental history and barely any credit, followed by neither one of our parents willing to co-sign with us, it has been exciting. We got everything all paid for finally and he has already moved in. I'll be slowly moving in this next week or so. Expect more blogs then, I guess. Will be internet-less for a little bit, but I'll survive. Thats what consoles are for, right? And sex...but I doubt I'll get lucky. Especially since I have no bed. Need to get around to taking care of that...
On a final note, this was a little something that just came to mind. If the Rock went to France, would people call him "the rock" or "le Pierre"? In french, Pierre is the word for Rock. Makes you wonder if the Pierre's in France are actually "the Rock" wannabes or something.

Another day in paradise
Damn, its been awhile since my last blog. Oh well, I'm sure all you weirdos who are reading about my life right now will get over it. And for those creepy stalkers out there...meh. Whatever. Anyways...
FFXII has been goin great lately. Just spent about 2 hours or so last night training my main three characters to lvl 60, so that I may fight Gilgamesh. Today, after work, I plan on training my backups to lvl 60 as well. Shouldnt take too long with that embroidered tippets or whatever they're called. The 2x experience accessories. You know...if you dont, then your a noob. Its alright, I forgive you. Also last night, I made about 150k gil. I feel pretty good about that since i was only farming for guys that needed to make like 7 lvls or so. My backups need to make at least 15 lvls, so i should get lots of cash from that. ^.^ Also this way, I can buy that stupid urn that has been sitting in my bazaar forever. Yeah, thats right Roddra, I havent bought it yet. Which makes it funny how i got to 1,000,000 gil spent before you. That should have helped you out a lot more. Oh well. I'll buy it later today after I train.
Hmm, as for marks, got almost all of them done now. Roddra and I FINALLY found a way into those tunnels in order to kill Bloodwing. So I decided to punch him to death as punishment. Roddra thought a quicker death was a little more appropriate, but to each his own, right? The only mark right now is I need to go finish off Gilgamesh. After much discussion, Roddra and I finally found out where that bastard is hiding, so once i finish training I'll just go own him I guess.
Well, off to work. Meh. Another day another dollar I guess, right? God, not even that makes me feel better about going to work. I dont get paid for another week. ;.;

Parlez-vous francais?
The aftermath of my four years of taking french class in high school was bleak. Besides the fact that I could occassionly partake in an intelligent french conversation with a friend from my french class, I really couldnt practice it anywhere. Right now, taking a french class in college would be more of a burden than fun for me, seeing that I need to focus more on my major at the moment. However, the longer I wait to practice, the harder it will start getting for me. But somehow, unknowing to me, my dad has come through for me. Yeah I know...kind of random, huh?
While exploring forums of some sort, my dad made this friend online. Shes this 18 year old girl who lives in Canada. Now before any of you jump to any sort of conclusions, my dad might be getting this surgery and he was lookin up forums online and this chic apparently had this same surgery. What surgery, I have yet to know, but for my sake I would prefer not to know. The less I know of the medical stuff my family goes through, the less I have to worry about them being alright and whatnot. I prefer to know the bare minimum. Back to the point...
After talking with my dad for a couple weeks, he mentioned to her that I too spoke french. Apparently he gave her my myspace info and said that if she wanted someone to practice with she could contact me. Well, shortly after talking to him about it, she sends me a message on myspace, and thus a pen pal friendship occurs. I've only been talkin to her for a few days now, but already I can feel my writing skills getting better. I cant necessarily practice actual speaking of french, but I'm at least able to practice writing/reading french, which is supposedly the hardest part of any language. Who knows, I might run by my high school and see if I can borrow a couple french books from my french teacher to work on reading and whatnot. Or even order my own. Still, one day I'd like to be fluent, and possibly visit some part of France. Until then, I'll keep practicin mon francais ^.^

With every good there comes a bad
Well, after numerous hours of searching, and pulling out my hair, i finally found that bastard carrot. And on top of that, the stupid carrot almost kicked my ass...but alas, I prevailed. Felt good to finally accomplish that. However, with every good event follows a bad one.
Now, for the life of me and Roddra, we cannot find a way into the stupid Burheim tunnels, or mines, or whatever they are. I'm too upset to look at my map again. Fucking Bloodwing is just gonna have to sit there and not die for awhile I guess, because I give up. I've searched every last possibility, as has Roddra. We are flat out stumped. The only thing we can think of is that somewhere, later on in the story line, we will end up down there. But until then...FUCK YOU BLOODWING!
